Welcome to Kenya, the land of stunning wildlife and mystifying cultures! On arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. You have the option of enjoying a truly unique dining experience at the Carnivore restaurant as a huge variety of meat is served freshly roasted from Masai swords straight to your sizzling plates.
Overnight in NAIROBI
This morning, travel to Masai Mara National Reserve famous for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. The plains are full of animals such as zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, leopards, elephants, lions, hyenas, cheetah, hippos, jackal, large Nile Crocodiles and bat-eared foxes. On arrival, check-in at the lodge.
Embark on an afternoon game drive and get to see the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest from the bordering Serengeti, not forgetting the predators that move along with them. This reserve is also famous for gazelles, antelopes and a variety of birds. Later, explore the park and admire the rolling grasslands dotted with acacia; hazy forested hills and reverie bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
Overnight in MASAI MARA
The morning is at leisure. You can start your day by rising before dawn for a spectacular hot air balloon ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast as an optional tour.
Later in the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the reserve, where you will have an opportunity to spot Africa’s ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and the Cape buffalo. Admire the stunning landscapes of the savannah as you drive in a vehicle with a pop-up roof.
Overnight in MASAI MARA
Today travel to Lake Naivasha, the only fresh water lake within Africa’s Great Rift Valley. The lake is famous for its vast flocks of exotic bird life, hippos and fish. On arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.
The afternoon is at leisure or you can go for an optional tour to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is home to the famous flamingos and hundreds of other species including the magnificent birds of prey.
Overnight in LAKE NAIVASHA
Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Nairobi for your flight back home.
