Day 1ARRIVE ROME

Welcome to Italy the land of the Mystique! On arrival in Rome, you will be welcomed by our Travel Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Rome is more than a fascinating European capital city; it is a spectacular encyclopedia of living history. The whole experience of Rome is so powerful as to be almost overwhelming at times.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this magnificent city (on your own). This evening why not discover the grandeur of the historical attractions of Rome at night on an optional Illuminated Rome Tour at an additional cost.

Day 2ROME

Today, explore Rome at your own pace on an extensive Hop on and off at your leisure, creating your own itinerary Listen to interesting and informative commentary through your own individual headphones – several languages available Discover the ancient and modern beauty of Rome See the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Roman Forum, the Vatican and the Trevi Fountain to name a few. Pink buses are on the move all day long, taking you to the city’s most important monuments. Hop on and off whenever and wherever you please! Buses run daily, approximately every 30 minutes at 11 different bus route stops between 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The entire loop, without stops, takes about two hours in good traffic. On board, a very informative audio-guide will supply you with the unique history behind Rome’s visual splendor, providing plenty of information to enrich your experience. Day 3ROME - FLORENCE

Travel by train to Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance. Also known as the city of Lily, the fame of Florence rests on its age-old image as the Italian hub of Renaissance art and architecture in Europe. With statues and sculptures dotting the piazzas, domes and towers surpassing the height of the sky, palatial palazzo dominating the cityscape, Florence is a beautiful gallery full of gleam and glory, in itself. On arrival in Florence proceed to hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to discover this breathtaking city (on your own). You can select an optional excursion to visit Pisa – No trip to Florence is complete without it!

Day 4FLORENCE

There is no better way to see Florence by Florence Walking tour. This most complete and thrilling guided walking tour starts from the peculiar Central market zone, characterized by workshops and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici’s Family are located. In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello. Not too far there is Piazza della Signoria, a great ‘open-air sculpture museum’, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museum all over the world. Then you proceed to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located. You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the ‘jewels bridge’. By crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace where our tour ends.

Day 5FLORENCE - VENICE

Travel to the magical city of Venice by train. Venice is just as romantic and beautiful as it looks in travelogues and movies. The piazzas and singing gondoliers, the idiosyncratic buildings and water taxis are all there to be seen, admired and photographed for posterity.
On arrival at Venice, proceed to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. You can choose an optional guided walking tour of Venice, or explore the city (on your own). This evening enjoy touring the canals of Venice, an ultimate romantic experience on the Gondola Serenade.

Day 06VENICE

This morning, enjoy an excursion to Murano, Burano & Torcello. The only way to visit the unusual and fascinating corners of Venice off the beaten track and where time seems to have stood still centuri¬es ago. You will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride and you will admire Desdemona’s House and Mozart’s House passing by the worldwide famous La Fenice Theatre proceeding along the Rio (Canal) “De le Ostreghe” leading into the most charming part of the Grand Canal, where you will admire the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Once reached the Salute Church and Punta della Dogana you will enjoy a quick unique breathtaking view of S. Giorgio’s Island, Saint Mark’s with its Belltower and Doge’s Palace. After the experience on gondola, you will enjoy a panoramic walking tour with the Tourist Guide of the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, through a labyrinth of little canals, and sites of historic and artistic interest, passing by some special places: Teatro la Fenice (“The Phoenix”), one of the most famous opera houses in Europe, the site of many famous operatic premieres; Scala del Bovolo, a unique spiral staircase with a plethora of arches; Rialto Bridge and its typical shops, one of the architectural icons of Venice. The tour does not include the commentary on St. Mark’s Square.

Day 07DEPART VENICE

Breakfast at hotel. Today you will be transferred to Venice airport for your flight back home.
