Gangtok (@5,410 ft) the capital of Sikkim, lies at the lower eastern Himalayas and is a centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture and learning, with the presence of several monasteries, religious educational institutions, and centers for Tibetology. Sikkim was integrated into the Indian Union in 1975, prior to which it was an independent monarchy. The world’s third-highest peak, Mount Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft) is visible to the west of the city. After breakfast, start for excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at a height of 12400Ft, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (Holy Temple). Back to Gangtok.

Today start your incredible day early morning at 4.00 am and drive through the Oak trees to visit the Tiger hill to view the sunrise point over Mt. Khanchendzongna (subject to clear weather).As you return, enjoy the toy ride from Darjeeling to Ghum Jn and visit the Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial & Batasia Loop. After breakfast proceed for the famous 7 points sightseeing covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N.
