Cochin > Munnar > Thekkady > Kumarakom > Alleppey > Kovalam > Trivandrum
On arrival at the Cochin airport our representative will take you to the cab arranged for you and then to the hotel booked for you. After check in and you are relaxed we proceed for a local tour of the city. Our guide will take you to the Bolghatty Island, Bolghatty Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin Beach, Jewish Synagogue and other places of historical importance. Over night stay in Cochin.
After breakfast, we drive you down to Munnar the hill station with unending expanse of tea plantation. Munnar is 120km away from Cochin with an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. On arrival at Munnar, we check you into the resort booked for you and overnight stay at Munnar.
Morning after breakfast at the hotel, we proceed for the local tour of Munnar. Visit Pothanmedu for an excellent view of plantation, Pallivasal , Nyayamakad water falls, then visit Top station ,it is one of the major attraction of Munnar, it is 1700meters above sea level from hear we get a panoramic view of Kodaikanal, a hill in the neighbouring province. Later we visit Eravikulam Rajamalai Wild life sanctuary, Mudapetty Dam and more exotic places till dusk and then return to the hotel and overnight stay at Munnar.
Morning after breakfast we drive you down to Periyar- wild life sanctuary. Periyar is also called as Thekkedy. The Periyar wild life sanctuary is one of the India’s biggest Wild life sanctuaries. It was declared a Tiger reserve in 1978. The sanctuary offers a lovely and comfortable means to get a glimpse of animals in the wild via boat rides on the man made Lake. On arrival at Thekkedy, we check you into the resort booked for you. Later we will set out for a local tour,for visit to Periyar lake, Periyar wild life sanctuary etc. Evening boating at Periyar lake and then overnight stay at the resort.
Morning after breakfast at the hotel, we drive you down to Kumarakom- the place of rivers and backwaters. Kumarakom backwater is called the jewel of kerala. Kumarakom is situated on the Vembanad lake. In this small water world, you will come across plenty of traditional country crafts boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. On arrival at Kumarakom, we check you into the Back water resort booked for you and later proceed for a local tour of Kumarakom. We take you on a visit to the Kumarakom backwaters, Kumarakom bird sanctuary, House boat Jetty and other exciting places. Overnight stay at the resort.
Morning after breakfast, transfer to deluxe house boat for a 24-hour Kerala back water cruise covering Kumarakom and Alleppey back waters. Each houseboat is of excellent construction and luxurious furnishing with exquisite flooring, hull and valavara (canopy), with a sun deck, spacious living/dining area with attached toilets. Houseboat will be manned by a crew, comprising a cook, a guide and oarsman. While aboard you can avail similar facilities offered in a star hotel. All meals will be served inside the house boat open top dinning hall and night stay will be arranged in the House boat.
Morning after breakfast, we check you out of the house boat at Alleppey. You will be guided to a cab and driven down to the Alleppey back water resort. Later in the day we will take you on a guided local tour. Referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world, this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. Visit Kuttanad also called as the rice bowl of kerala, lush with paddy crops, is at the very heart of the backwaters. Later we will take you to the Alappuzha beach and the night stay at Alleppey.
Morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will drive you to Kovalam, the beach location. On arrival, we check you into a beach resort. Kovalam was once the fishing village and today called the Paradise of the South, is about 16 kms away from Kerala Capital Thiruvananthapuram. Kovalam has three successive crescent shaped beaches and Ayurvedic massage and yoga centers. Night stay at the resort.
Morning after breakfast we take you on a short local tour of Kovalam and a free evening to relax and take Ayurvedic massage on the beach shore and night stay at Kovalam.
Morning after breakfast we drive you down to the Trivandrum airport or train station for your onward journey..
