Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Later visit Mogul Garden “Nishat”(The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar” (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. Also visit Shankeracherya Temple.Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for excursion to Gulmarg. Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for excursion to Pahalgam. Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally by the lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.
After breakfast leave with picnic lunch for Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg โ 84 Kms is also called as โThe meadow of goldโ has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Drive over Zojila Pass towards Kargil passing thru Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabitant of the world inn the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake.
Return to Srinagar and overnight at the House Boat.
In time transfer to Airport to board flight for onward destination.
